SEG Award for Baykulov, Dümmong and Gajewski

The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) as the largest organization for Applied Geophysics has distiguished the presentation A  workflow  for  the  processing  of  reflection  seismic  data  with  CRS
attributes,
authored by Mikhail Baykulov, Stefan Dümmong and Dirk Gajewski with the Best Poster Award. The paper was presented during the Annual Meeting of the SEG in Houston, Texas, USA, in 2009. The Award will be presented to the authors during the SEG conference in Denver, Colorado, USA in October of this year. This award does not only recognize the contributions of the authors but the efforts of many researchers of the WIT consortium in their continuous research to develop an alternative path for reflection seismic data processing.

13th WIT Meeting

From Februars 24th to 26th the researchers of the Wave Inversion Technology project meet with their sponsors. WIT was founded in 1997 and performs leading edge research in seismic exploration since then. During the 13th annual meeting the new  research report will be delivered to the sponsors and the most recent results are presented in a two day symposium.
